Smart Agrometer Tool Tested in CNC Farms to Improve Nutrient Efficiency | Lithuania

As part of the NUTRI-CHECK NET project, a series of trials was conducted in June 2025 on four Lithuanian farms, all members of the Crop Nutrition Club (CNC). The focus of these trials was to assess the performance of the Smart Agrometer tool in supporting real-time fertilisation decisions during the growing season, especially in winter wheat crop.

The primary goal of the experiment was to evaluate winter wheat yield potential and nutrient utilisation efficiency by using the Smart Agrometer to adjust foliar fertilisation. The tool provides data-driven insights into crop nutrient status, allowing farmers to make timely and targeted adjustments, particularly regarding the uptake of essential nutrients and micronutrients.

Participating Farms with Winter Wheat: Alfredas Bardauskas (CNC farm, Raseiniai district), Dainius Ališauskas (CNC farm, Raseiniai district), Mindaugas Makaveckas (Joniškis district) and Nerijus Draudvilas (CNC farm, Kėdainiai district).
