On May 1st, two EU-funded projects, NUTRI-CHECK NET and OPER8, came together for their inaugural joint event focused on advancing nutrient management in agriculture through shared knowledge and innovative practices.
The OPER-8 consortium presented their comprehensive methodology for identifying best practices in nutrient management, alongside the results of their detailed cost-benefit analysis. This set the stage for two engaging roundtable discussions where partners from both projects exchanged insights, addressed challenges, and clarified approaches related to best practices and economic assessments.
The event concluded with a joint presentation showcasing the digital platforms developed by both projects, highlighting how technology can support farmers and advisors across Europe. Reflections on potential future collaborations emphasised the importance of synergy among EU projects to foster sustainable agricultural solutions.
This collaboration marks a significant step towards optimising nutrient use efficiency and promoting environmentally sound farming practices across Europe.
Stay tuned for more updates as NUTRI-CHECK NET and OPER8 continue to work together to innovate and support the agricultural community!
