WP 6 Update | Project Management

The NUTRI-CHECK NET project is entering its final and most impactful stage. Earlier in May, the consortium gathered in Aarhus, Denmark, for a productive mid-year meeting to assess progress and set priorities for the months ahead.

It was inspiring to witness the growing enthusiasm for the Plan, Check & Adjust, Review approach across all partner countries. As we move forward, the focus shifts to a crucial co-creation phase, where we will finalise a series of Best Practices designed to support this 3-step checking approach.

Each Best Practice will be accompanied by a set of practical tools that both farmers and advisors can apply directly to improve decision-making in the field. Many of these tools are already available on the NUTRI-CHECK NET Platform and have been thoroughly tested through the project’s 26 Crop Nutrition Clubs.

Meanwhile, the cost-benefit analysis, based on real-life data shared by club members, is nearing completion. This analysis will be a key contribution to future policy briefs and recommendations, ensuring our findings can inform more sustainable and efficient nutrient management strategies across Europe.
