SEGES Innovation held a webinar on 9 September focusing on how to evaluate the season and the chosen fertilisation strategy. Guidance was provided on assessing the strategy in winter wheat, with particular attention to protein content and the specific conditions of this year’s season. It was also emphasised that the economic optimum depends on the current relationship between fertiliser and cereal prices.
The evaluation of the maize season was also addressed, with a focus on analysing raw protein. An advisor shared insights on how farmers can use such assessments to improve their fertilisation plans for the following year.
