On June 11th, the NUTRI-CHECK NET project was presented during a national meeting organised by the SUPPORT project and its Crop Cluster for Potatoes in Denmark. This engaging session created a valuable opportunity for cross-project dialogue and collaboration between two Horizon Europe initiatives working towards more sustainable crop production systems.
With both projects focusing on key crops such as potatoes, wheat, and maize, the meeting served as a platform to exchange insights and explore complementarities. While NUTRI-CHECK NET focuses on improving nutrient use efficiency through co-creation with farmers, advisors, and researchers across 26 Crop Nutrition Clubs and 9 National Expert Groups, SUPPORT is dedicated to advancing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies in European arable systems.
The meeting also included a presentation of the NUTRI-CHECK NET digital platform, which provides access to a wide array of tools, services, and knowledge resources related to nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium (NPK) management across Europe.
As a next step, attendees will receive more detailed information about NUTRI-CHECK NET and be invited to contribute by completing a short survey to help assess and improve the platform’s usability. Their feedback will be essential in ensuring the project continues to meet the needs of end-users.
This collaborative exchange marks a strong step forward in building synergies between EU-funded initiatives, enhancing knowledge sharing, and supporting the co-development of practical solutions for sustainable crop nutrition and protection.
