On September 18th, NUTRI-CHECK NET proudly participated in the Irish National Ploughing Championships! Cathal Redmond, our project partner from NUTRI-CHECK NET, was there to represent and support the discussion on the benefits of soil carbon for sustainable farming practices.
Joining Cathal was John Mahon, a Teagasc Signpost advisor, who delivered an insightful talk about the importance of soil health and how soil carbon management can help farmers reduce their environmental impact. The crowd was highly engaged, eager to learn more about how to improve soil quality and support climate action.
It was a fantastic opportunity for our team to connect with the farming community and share the latest innovations from the NUTRI-CHECK NET project, helping to drive a more sustainable future for Irish agriculture!
