Did you know that applying sulphur in the form of ammonium sulphate can dramatically enhance your crop's yield and protein content? For maximum benefit, apply it at the right stages: during winter wheat's regeneration and at the end of tillering. This boost is most effective with specific nitrogen levels (N105 and N225) and an N ratio of 3.5:1. Not only does sulphur increase grain yield and the number of grains per ear, but it also significantly raises the total amino acid and protein content of the grain.
