CNC Field Day Held in Dublin on February 17th
On February 17th, CNC members gathered on the farm of Martin Ennis for an engaging and educational Field Day in Dublin. The event was a great success, with a focus on the importance of goal setting in modern farm management.
Several CNC members were present at the event, including Martin Ennis, Gerry Bell, Martin Garrigan, Fergus, and Gerry Flynn, who represents the Potato CNC. Their participation highlighted the strong sense of community and support that the CNC network provides for farmers across the region.
The day’s speaker, Brendan Bourke, Farm Manager for Teagasc, presented a session on the critical role that goal setting plays in farm management. His insights provided valuable advice on how farmers can plan effectively to improve productivity and sustainability on their farms.
The Field Day event allowed members to come together, share knowledge, and discuss strategies for tackling the challenges facing modern farming. It was an excellent opportunity to strengthen the bonds within the CNC community and gain practical advice that can be applied on farms across the region.
We thank all attendees and look forward to future events that bring the CNC network together to support sustainable and innovative farming practices.
