NUTRI-CHECK NET 3rd Annual Meeting: A Successful Gathering in Saint-Quentin

The NUTRI-CHECK NET project partners came together on February 10th and 11th in Saint-Quentin, France, for the 3rd Annual Meeting. Over two productive days, experts from across Europe discussed key advancements, shared insights, and planned the next steps for the project’s development.

Day 1: Collaboration & Innovation

The meeting started with a warm welcome and project update by Sarah Kendall, setting the stage for insightful discussions. The first sessions focused on progress with CNC surveys and cost-benefit analysis, highlighting early findings and implications for nutrient management strategies.

After a networking lunch, attendees visited Arvalis facilities, gaining valuable insights into cutting-edge research and practical applications. The afternoon continued with engaging sessions on developing best practices, insights from the NUTRI-BUDGET project, and platform developments. Discussions around the project’s inventory, platform updates, and financial matters, including a grant amendment, rounded off a highly productive day.

Day 2: Strategy & Future Planning

The second day began with an in-depth discussion on the NEGs’ purpose for the year and the project’s long-term impact. Partners then took part in an interactive workshop covering key work packages, summarizing progress and outlining next steps.

The meeting concluded with a field visit, providing participants with a hands-on perspective of nutrient management in practice. This experience reinforced the importance of translating research into actionable solutions for sustainable farming.
