On September 3–4, Delphy proudly represented the NUTRI-CHECK NET project at Potato Europe, held in Lelystad, the Netherlands. The event welcomed over 17,000 participants from 107 countries, including farmers, global companies, and government ministries.
Potato Europe proved to be an excellent platform to promote the project to key stakeholders in the potato industry. We engaged in meaningful conversations about shaping a more sustainable potato sector, and shared insights on how the NUTRI-CHECK NET platform supports this goal.
A standout moment was the strong interest from India, Egypt, and Nigeria, where potatoes are emerging as a vital crop. As one of the world’s most important staple foods, potatoes play a crucial role in nutrition, income generation, and agricultural innovation.
With growing challenges such as climate change, resource efficiency, and the need for sustainable food systems, our team addressed questions about the project’s objectives and demonstrated the platform’s capabilities.
