NUTRI-CHECK NET at the Agrarische Dagen in Someren, Netherlands

On 6–7 September, Delphy represented the NUTRI-CHECK NET project at the Agrarische Dagen in Someren. Together with partner initiatives, we engaged visitors in discussions on the importance of using fertilizers carefully and responsibly.

A distinctive feature of this event is its diverse audience: arable farmers, livestock farmers, and citizens. This mix created an excellent opportunity to present the project’s goals and to share insights into the challenges faced not only by farmers in the Netherlands but also in the partner countries where NUTRI-CHECK NET is active.

Many of the discussions centred on two pressing questions:

  • How can we determine precisely how many nutrients a crop needs for optimal growth?
  • How can farmers achieve maximum yields while working within increasingly strict nitrogen limits?

These exchanges showed the strong interest in practical, science-based solutions that can support more sustainable and efficient farming practices.

The event gathered around 100 exhibitors and attracted approximately 12,000 visitors over the two days, providing excellent visibility for NUTRI-CHECK NET and its mission.
