NUTRI-CHECK NET Showcased at PX Farms Open Day

On 25th June, the NUTRI-CHECK NET project was featured at the PX Farms Open Day, with ADAS, focused on optimising crop nutrition. The gathering brought together farmers, advisors, and industry experts to discuss innovations and strategies for improving agricultural productivity and sustainability.

One highlight was reconnecting with Crop Nutrition Club farmer Michael Brewis from the Scottish Borders. Michael will be sharing his practical experience using grain analysis on the farm during an upcoming webinar on Tuesday, 1st July, alongside NUTRI-CHECK NET team members.

The event was a refreshing opportunity to engage with a broad audience in a grain store setting, listening to optimistic presentations and discussions about the future of agriculture. Key themes that emerged included the vital importance of productivity and efficiency, balanced with sustainability goals.

Diana Overton emphasised the critical role of data utilisation as a driver for improvement, aligning closely with NUTRI-CHECK NET’s ongoing efforts to better understand farmer needs and enhance the use of decision-making tools for nutrient management.

As NUTRI-CHECK NET continues to foster knowledge exchange and innovation, we invite farmers, advisors, and stakeholders across Europe to join our upcoming webinars and explore the project’s tools and resources. Together, we can make crop nutrition smarter, more efficient, and sustainable.
