On the 17th June, as part of its national outreach activities, SEGES Innovation, the Danish partner of Nutri-Check NET, participated in the 2025 edition of the National Roughage Excursion in Hanning near Skjern, a key annual event focused on forage production, nutrient management, and sustainable farming practices.
Hosted by local farmers Jacob and Jørgen Spangsberg, the event brought together a wide audience of farmers, advisors, and agricultural experts for a full day of technical presentations, peer exchange, field visits, and machinery demonstrations.
During the afternoon field tour, SEGES Innovation presented the NUTRI-CHECK NET platform, highlighting how the project supports smarter nutrient management through digital tools, knowledge-sharing, and co-creation with end users. Despite challenging weather conditions, the event proved to be an effective setting for engaging with stakeholders and showcasing project outcomes in a practical context.
This national event exemplifies the project’s mission to bridge science and practice, ensuring that innovative crop nutrition solutions are developed with and for farmers across Europe!
