NUTRI-CHECK NET has been actively engaging in key events to promote sustainable agricultural innovations and foster collaboration.
On September 13, 2024, the project was showcased at the INOVMILHO field day in Coruche, Portugal, organized by ANPROMIS. Hosted at the António Teixeira Experimental Station, the event gathered 300 participants from the agricultural sector. Attendees explored the latest technological advancements in maize production, heard from industry experts on policy and technical constraints, and witnessed drone demonstrations. Dina Lopes from CONSULAI presented NUTRI-CHECK NET’s mission to optimize fertilization in wheat, maize, and potato crops, strengthening outreach to farmers and advisors.
Later, on November 20, 2024, NUTRI-CHECK NET participated in the GO WIDE event in Santarém, Portugal, organized by Agroglobal Wide. This event brought together key agricultural and forestry stakeholders to showcase cutting-edge innovations developed through research and innovation (R&I) projects. GO WIDE focuses on ensuring that research-driven solutions translate into real-world applications. NUTRI-CHECK NET’s involvement reinforced its commitment to sustainable agricultural practices and knowledge exchange with industry leaders.
These events highlight the importance of communication and dissemination in bridging research and practice, ensuring that innovative solutions reach those who can benefit most—farmers, advisors, and policymakers.
